Yoga Foundations

Yoga Foundations

Join Abby for a 4-week series exploring the foundations of yoga and mindful, joyful movement! The world of yoga classes can be confusing, overwhelming, even intimidating. It’s easy to look around the room and think we’re not flexible enough, not strong enough, or to wonder to ourselves, “And what, dear teacher, should I do if I can’t do THAT? Do I even belong here??” But here’s the thing: Yoga is about more than putting our bodies into shapes; yoga is about self-inquiry, compassion, and connection. So no matter your experience, or the state of your hamstrings, this workshop is for you! Throughout the series, we’ll explore some common yoga shapes, principles of alignment, and breathing techniques. Above all, however, my hope is that, by the end of our time together, you feel empowered and excited to keep learning - not just about yoga, but about yourself, too!
