Group Fitness Coach

Atrium Movement & Events is seeking a dedicated and innovative Strength & Conditioning/Group Fitness Coach to join our community-focused team. We aim to offer grounded, accessible, and creative instruction in every class. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver inclusive strength and conditioning programs that prioritize the well-being and diverse needs of participants.

  • Utilize creative, accessible, and non-intimidating approaches to fitness instruction, making movement an enjoyable experience for everyone.

  • Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages empowerment, personal growth, and community engagement.

  • Stay open and adaptable to learning new modalities and updated science and integrating them into your coaching practice.

  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff, develop special offerings, and promote the other diverse movement classes we offer.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in strength & conditioning coaching, including work with kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbags and/or barbells, preferably in a group setting.

  • Passion for fitness and movement, paired with a community-minded outlook.

  • Value a broad range of movement modalities outside of “fitness” and be able to speak to the benefits of diversifying your movement practice.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating reliability and empathy in all interactions.

  • Availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend classes is essential.
