Group Fitness Coach
Atrium Movement & Events is seeking a dedicated and innovative Strength & Conditioning/Group Fitness Coach to join our community-focused team. We aim to offer grounded, accessible, and creative instruction in every class. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver inclusive strength and conditioning programs that prioritize the well-being and diverse needs of participants.
Utilize creative, accessible, and non-intimidating approaches to fitness instruction, making movement an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages empowerment, personal growth, and community engagement.
Stay open and adaptable to learning new modalities and updated science and integrating them into your coaching practice.
Collaborate with other instructors and staff, develop special offerings, and promote the other diverse movement classes we offer.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in strength & conditioning coaching, including work with kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbags and/or barbells, preferably in a group setting.
Passion for fitness and movement, paired with a community-minded outlook.
Value a broad range of movement modalities outside of “fitness” and be able to speak to the benefits of diversifying your movement practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating reliability and empathy in all interactions.
Availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend classes is essential.
